WARRANTY

We stand behind our products

Have a problem with your audio upgrades?  Submit a warranty claim below.

​To start a warranty claim, please fill out the form below.  The warranty form arrives to our techs as an email, and once received, a Hogtunes Tech will respond typically within 1 business day. The Tech will determine if the product is valid for warranty replacement. In all cases, proof of purchase by the original retail purchaser is required.

 

Hogtunes Speakers are warranted for a period of 20 years from the original purchase date to the original owner.

Hogtunes and Wild Boar Audio Branded Amplifiers are warranted for 3 years from the original purchase date to the original owner unless otherwise stated in the owner's manual.

 

All XL Series and Wild Boar Audio speakers are warranted for 5 years.

The Metrix Audio UTV-1 Kit, Element X amp and Element 1 speakers are warranted for 2 years.

Hogtunes inc. products found to be defective during the warranty period will be repaired or replaced (with a product deemed to be equivalent) at Hogtunes Inc. sole discretion. 

 

Warranty Replacement

 

Once a Hogtunes Tech has approved a warranty claim, wherever possible, products believed to be defective can be “field destroyed”. Goods found to be defective within 90 days from original purchase has shipping for replacement products paid by Hogtunes. Goods found to be defective over 90 days from original purchase has shipping for replacement products paid by customer at a flat rate of $18 USD.

For Speakers: 

 

Option 1) Customer emails our technicians a photo of the destroyed speaker(s) and we will release the replacement(s).

 

Option 2) Customers can give a $50 warranty deposit and we will release the replacement(s). Once photos of the destroyed defective speaker(s) are received, the deposit is refunded.

 

For Amplifiers And Other Electronics: 

 

Option 1) Customer emails our technicians a photo of the all wires cut flush to the main body of the unit and we will release the replacement. IMPORTANT NOTE: Amplifier photos MUST clearly show the serial number so we can record it for our records.

 

Option 2) Customers can give us a $100 warranty deposit and we will release the replacement. Once photos of the unit are received with wires cut flush to the unit with serial number clearly readable, the deposit is refunded.

What Is Not Covered: 
1) Any expense related to the removal or re-installation of Hogtunes products. 
2) Repairs to these products performed by anyone other than Hogtunes. 
3) Subsequent damage to any other components. 
4) Any product purchased from a non-authorized Hogtunes/Drag Specialties dealer. 
5) Damage to Hogtunes inc. products due to an accident or collision. 
6) Hogtunes Amplifiers with broken or removed “warranty void” stickers.
7) Damage due to water from any non-standard (custom) installation.
8) Damage from incorrect installation, product removal, improper use, abuse, or modifications.
9) Damage to the inbound product due to unsatisfactory packaging.
10) Any expenses related to custom finishes or paint for any reason.
